This is a versatile Silver Solder Flux powder for most Silver Soldering applications. The powder can be mixed with a small amount of water to form a paste if this is more convenient for a particular job. Make sure you only make up paste for no more than an hours use as the paste will "go off" after while and not work properly! Silver Solder Flux, in either powder, or paste form, will become liquid just before the metal being joined reaches Silver Soldering temperature. This can be a good guide for when to add Silver Solder Rod! You can also coat your Silver Solder Rod with Silver Solder Flux by warming the end of your Silver Solder Rod then quickley dipping into the Silver Solder Flux Powder.
